Well well well (three holes in the ground) it looks like it’s the 17th and here I am writing in my blog today. I had a very busy day today. We went to two schools in Hingham, Ma. First we went to the Plymouth River School where we did the Early Instrument program. You know the one with all the recorders. I laugh every time I see David lugging all those cases full of recorders and stuff. I’m so glad I don’t have to carry Roland the Amp. Yikes!! I like that show because he always puts that water bottle next to me on the table and I can sneak little sips of water behind his back. It’s great ’cause no one ever tells on me. So we did that show first and then we did the whaling program which I really like too. He always gets all the kids singing. There was a bunch of kids saying stuff like, “We’re not gonna sing,” and by the end of the song they were singing right along with everyone else. Ha! You can’t not sing. I was relieved he didn’t throw the harpoon. That part always worries me.
So after that show we went and got lunch. Of course I had to stay in the car but I could see him through the window. He had a BLT and soup. What did I get? A good long look at the power strip he keeps in the bag with me. Very nice. So then we go to a new school in Hingham, East, and it was very nice. We did the recorder show again and I got to dance at the end. That’s always the best part of the show…when I get to dance. I mean, he’s pretty good but my dancing, now that’s a show stopper. The kids were great in both schools and I hope we get to go back again next year.
Okay, my hands are getting tired with all this typing. Time to get back in the bag I guess.
Bye for now.
Pierre.
